The Head of Video will be responsible for managing our client’s slate of original video
content and devising a “voice” that our consumers know and love. This role will ensure that
they are producing content that our consumers love, from ideation to the final cut. The Head of
Original Programming will report to the Head of Video Programming. You will manage and build
a team of creative professionals to build out our slate and work closely with AOL Studios and 3rd
party production houses to execute projects.

• Drive audience by delivering a slate of Beat the Internet video content that our users will
love, share and talk about
• Determine the appropriate voice for Original video content
• Recruit top talent to conceive, screen and select the right video concepts for development
• Work cross-functionally to ensure that our original content is produced, programmed,
distributed, marketed and sold effectively
• Leverage insights from our Content Platform to continuously improve the success of Original Video content
• Track operational and financial success of the content slate
• Be an avid internal and external advocate for Video

Desired Skills & Experience
Previous experience heavily focused in Development of Original Programming and strength in online platforms i.e. shorter form, non scripted.
